Yeah! You can officially be done and fine with it right?
I must be a dumbhead though because I thought that this was going to be a post about whether or not James got the intership. I guess I have a one track mind. Either that or you look less pregnant than I do!
Natalie, I have to tell you, I know TONS of people who have three boys, and then a girl. TONS. Supposedly, statistically speaking, if you have three of one, your odds of having the other for your fourth go way up. I hope you get a boy someday, they're really fun! (But I'm excited to get to do the "girl thing")
Heather: You'll have to do "fireworks" for an internship offer if one comes because like Andrea I thought I'd read about James's new undertaking. And, now like Lisa, I'm wondering if Andrea is also pregnant. You'll have a whole different kind of fun with a girl this time around.
James and I met while attending BYU and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in August of 2003. Our family of two soon became three when Matthew was born in June of 2004. Two years later, in June of 2006, Ethan joined our family. In February, we welcomed Justin into our home.
Driving in the car: Mom: "Look, there goes a firetruck!" Matthew: "Yeah, they're going to go wash the fire!"
At the Doctor's office: Matthew: "I don't want any sticks!" Mom: "Sticks?" Matthew: "You know, STICK!" (pretending to poke himself in the leg) Mom: "Oh, you don't want a shot?" Matthew: "No, I want a shot." Mom: "What?" Matthew: "You, know one of these." (pretending to lick a lollipop (they always get one after shots)) Mom: "Oh, you mean you want a sucker, but no shots?" Matthew: "Right!"
Watching Survivor: Matthew: "Look at that awesomest!" Mom: "What?" Matthew: "That thing with all the legs." Mom: "An octopus?" Matthew: "Yeah, an awesomest."
Contemplating his lack of funds: Matthew: "I need a credit card so that I can buy some money!"
Reading a book about animals: Matthew: "Ew!! I don't like stunks!" Mom: "Skunks." Matthew: "Whatever they are, they're stinky!"
At the Doctor's office: Little Boy: (He only speaks spanish, and was showing Matthew and Ethan his orange) "Naranja." Matthew: "Orange." Ethan: "Apple! Apple!" All three boys: (Looking at each other, totally confused.)
I'm not sure what this is in reference to: Matthew: "Yuck, bacon is NOT for cows!!"
While running errands: Matthew: "Mom, I wanna get you a flower for Mother's Day." Mom: "Oh, that's really nice of you!" Matthew: "Yeah, don't forget to pick one up while you're at Wal-Mart."
Rebecca, the boys' cousin, when she found out that we would be living with Grandma and Grandpa Hatch for the summer: Rebecca: "They are so lucky. Grandma and Grandpa always have cookies!" So true Rebecca...so true
Trying to sing the song "You Can't Take No For an Answer" from the movie The Muppets Take Manhattan: Ethan: "...na na cake for dancers..."
After a Primary lesson on where our food comes from: Matthew: "Did you know that crackers are made of weeds and flowers?" Mom: "I think you mean wheat flour." Matthew: "Nope, it's weeds and flowers."
Pointing at a BYU student walking to class as we go pick James up from school: Matthew: "Hey, do we know that guy?" Mom: "No, I don't think so." Matthew "Hmmm." Still trying to figure it out, "Doesn't Robb have that face? Oh, and those sunglasses?"
Riding in the car: Matthew: "mumble mumble mumble, okay mom?" Mom: "What did you say?" Matthew: "mumble mumble mumble, okay mom?" Mom: "What did you say?" Matthew: "Mom, do you need tubes in your ears?"
Discussing the dinner menu: Matthew: "What are we having for dinner?" Mom: "Chicken fried steak, snowsnap peas, and mashed potatoes with gravy." Matthew: "What is gravy?" Mom: "Scrumptious deliciousness." Matthew: "I don't know what that means. What color is it?" Mom: "Brown." Matthew: "Ew. I don't eat things that are brown." Mom: "You eat chocolate. Chocolate is brown." Matthew: Eyes lighting up. "We're having chocolate for dinner?!!" Mom: "Um, no."
Talking about his cousins: Matthew: "How come Brittany and Brandon have four kids in their family and we only have three? That's not fair." Mom: "Would you like another brother or sister someday?" Matthew: "A brother, but not a sister. I'm afraid of girls."
Running in from the garage: Matthew: "Last one in is a rockin' egg!"
Holding up the Seagull Book add: Matthew: "Look what Jesus sent me!"
While playing: Matthew: "I miss Justin when he's taking a nap." Mom: "Aw. You do?" Matthew: "Yeah, I like his face."
In the living room playing with a toy airplane, after we had just dropped James off at the airport: Matthew: "The good news is, we're coming into Salt Lake City. The bad news is, we're crash landing." Drops the plane on the floor amid screams for help. Mom: Thinking, "I sure hope not!"
Talking to Daddy while eating breakfast: Ethan: "I lost my hiccups. I really need to find them!"
While hanging out: Matthew: "When are you going to go to the hospital to pick out our new baby?"

Congratulations!!! You deserve a cute little girl. That's not to say that your boys aren't adorable but girls are fun in different ways.
I am way excited for you guys!
Yeah! You can officially be done and fine with it right?
