Last night, we decided to have a little good free fun. We went to Bridal Veil Falls and had a picnic dinner. After dinner, we walked through the park, threw rocks into the river, saw the falls, and then did a little letterboxing. It was only the second time that we've gone, but it's really fun. You can look up clues to find letterboxes on the internet HERE - they're hidden all over the US. Letterboxes are small weatherproof boxes hidden in different locations, containing a log book and a special stamp. To go letterboxing you need to have your own stamp, stamp pad, a pen and some sort of notebook/logbook. Once you find the letterbox, you take your stamp and stamp its logbook and sign it. Then you take the stamp from the letterbox, and stamp your logbook. Then you put everything back in the box and hide it again for others to find. It's really fun, and the boys LOVED going on a treasure hunt. I don't think they actually believed me when I said that we were going to go find a treasure in the woods. When we found it, they were SO excited. I have to admit that it is a little bit of a rush to find them, and I think we'll be doing some more letterboxing in the near future.

I was trying to help him pull it out, but I'm too much of a chicken, and James ended up doing it instead. Kind of gross, but there was a loud POP when James tugged it free.
Sorry for all the blood and gore, but we like to keep it real here on this blog :) After almost two weeks of a very wiggly tooth, it finally came out. Matthew said it didn't hurt that much. And, I sewed him a stuffed robot with a pocket on the front for the toothfairy hand-off. Even while the tooth was in the pocket, Matthew managed to lose it right before bedtime. He was really upset, but luckily the toothfairy still came. She wrote him a note saying that since it was his first tooth, she came anyways, but she can't give him any more chances :)
My older brother, Brett, got married the same weekend as graduation. We are so happy for him, and so glad that he found Megan. Not that I don't normally like hanging out with my family, but it was even more amazing this time because now we all have spouses. I can't wait for the years ahead. Now, if I can only convince them all that I'm not that old. I guess having four kids will do that to you, even if I'm not technically the oldest (Brett). Huge Congratulations!
After nearly two years, it's over...the school part, that is. I can't help but think that this is just the beginning for us. And, though we're still looking for a job, and I thought that if we graduated without a job it would pretty much be the end of the world :) , it's not, and I am so, so proud of my brilliant, handsome husband. My best friend. Congratulations! We love you so much!!
