PCC Day 2

We went to the luau and the night show on Friday, and then were able to spend the whole day Saturday exploring the rest of the PCC. Here are my boys in front of the huge Hawaiian voyaging canoe. It actually sails, and they have plans to take it on excursions. Pretty cool.

We had front row seats for the canoe pageant...though we had to bribe the boys with Powerades to make them sit still for that long. Each Polynesian island was represented through costumes and dance.

Ethan fishing in "Tahiti". He almost caught a fish.

The boys trying their hand at some Hawaiian games.

Hot, isn't he?

Matthew and Ethan had to get their picture taken in front of the "Dum-Dum" statue.

We learned how to weave these fish out of leaves. The boys LOVED them!

My men with their tattoos. Matthew was so sad when it washed off in the bath later that night. Apparently he thinks getting permanent tattoos counts as a wholesome family activity. Justin had one, too, but he was sound asleep in the stroller. This picture was taken in front of our apartment, in case any of you wanted to see where we lived.

It was a hot, exhausting day, but fun, too.

The PCC is more fun with kids I think. For us grown-ups, it was not so much. Although when we went they didn't offer any tattoos anywhere that we saw. I would have been all over that!

Love the tats! Where's yours Heather? and, might I say, at Labor Day, you were looking mighty pregos...and yes, I mean that as a compliment! Good luck on the gaining 50!
